This study was aimed to analyze the inter-relationship among emotional labor, work satisfaction, and depression in elderly care providers. In particular, this study suggested the strategies and policies to improve emotional health for emotional labor providers. Firstly, negative correlation was observed between the emotional labor (e.g., emotional dissonance, attentiveness, and continuance ratio) and work satisfaction; secondly, attentiveness of elderly care providers did not affect the depression, but exerted negative effects on work satisfaction; thirdly, continuance ratio had a direct on the depression and an indirect effect on work satisfaction.
